The couscous is the first thing the tourist asks upon his arrival in Morocco, because of his fame which surpassed the rest of the world. The couscous dish is made from soft grain flour from barley, or wheat, cooked on steam and decorated with a variety of vegetables (such as carrots, pumpkins, turnips ...) and meat. In some cases, it is served with meat, raisins and cooked onions, instead of vegetables, which is termed by the Moroccan rogue "couscous by the garbage". Generally, this meal is served in Friday's food.
